Terms of Service

1. What the service is

Storeworkers lets you hire AI agents that read your store, propose work, and, once you allow it, carry out specific kinds of tasks. We launch on Shopify; WooCommerce and BigCommerce support is on the roadmap and these terms will apply to those stores in the same way. Every worker starts in shadow mode, where it proposes and changes nothing. You decide, one kind of task at a time, what a worker may do on its own.

Some actions can never be carried out by a worker without your approval, whatever you configure: cancelling an order, changing a price, deleting a product or customer, issuing a refund, emailing your whole customer list, and publishing to your storefront. This list is part of the service and cannot be switched off by you, by an agency, or by us.

2. Your account and your store

You must be at least eighteen and authorised to connect the store you connect. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including approvals you give and settings you choose, and for keeping your sign-in details private. If an agency manages your store through StoreWorkers, you are responsible for the access you grant them.

3. What you agree not to do

You agree not to use the service to:

• Send unsolicited or deceptive messages to customers, or messages that break the law where you or they are.
• Try to get a worker to act outside the rules above, or to reach data that is not yours.
• Reverse engineer, resell or white-label the service except under a written agency agreement with us.
• Overload or interfere with the service or other merchants’ containers.

4. Trials, plans and payment

Each worker you hire begins with a free trial in shadow mode. Prices for keeping a worker on are shown before you are charged. Paid plans are billed in advance and renew until cancelled; you can cancel from your settings and the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Every worker has a daily usage cap it cannot exceed, and the dashboard shows what each one has cost.

If you bring your own AI provider key, charges from that provider are between you and them.

5. What the workers produce

Text and proposals produced by your workers are yours to use. They are produced by language models and can be wrong. Shadow mode, approvals and the work log exist so you can check them; you remain responsible for what you approve and publish.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that reduce what you have paid for. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Storeworkers is provided as it is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by an action you approved or a setting you chose. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time from your settings. Disconnecting a store revokes our access with Shopify immediately. We keep your data for thirty days after closure in case you change your mind, then delete it, as described in the privacy policy.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before either of us starts formal proceedings, we agree to try to resolve the matter by writing to each other and talking it through within thirty days.

10. Changes to these terms

We will email the address on your account at least fourteen days before a change to these terms takes effect, unless the change is required by law or only adds to what you can do. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
